Deciding a size
I work at either life-size or a little smaller.
The sizes and prices below give approximate dimensions, which directly relate to the size of your pet.
An equivalent square shape is often more suitable.
Most of these sizes and prices are for 'head and shoulder' portraits.
The sizes are for the paper, and allow "breathing space" around the drawing and enough clear paper for mounting.
Prices are for drawing only - no mount or frame included.
Face only.
6" x 6" 15cm x 15cm £145 (exclusively for cat, very small dog or other small animal)
Head and shoulders only.
10" x 8" 25x 20cm £195 (suits cat/very small dog)
12" x 10" 30x 25cm £245 (suits larger fluffy cat/small dog)
14" x 11" 35x27cm £295 (suits medium dog)
16" x 12" 40x30cm £395 (suits large dog)
20" x 16" 50x40cm £495 (suits very large dog)
23.4" x 16.5" 60x42cm (A2) £795 (suits horse, head and neck, front facing)
23" x 23" 60x60cm £895 (suits horse, head and neck, side facing)

Deposit & Payment
I will not take ANY payment until we've agreed on suitable quality reference image/s to work from and we're both happy to proceed.
To secure a slot in my waiting list, I ask for a 50%, non-refundable deposit (unless I am unable to fulfil, in which case you would receive a full refund).
When I've completed the work I'll send you a photograph of your portrait, and at this stage the balance should be paid.
Get in touch to arrange monthly installments if that would suit you better.
Price will be fixed and honoured at the time a piece is commissioned (this is when a photograph is agreed by both parties and the deposit is paid)
Payment via Bacs (bank to bank), PayPal or cheque through the post (which would have to clear before sending the portrait).
Packing
I treat your portraits with great care, to ensure they arrive with you in excellent condition. Your portrait will be in a clear sleeve, with a stiff card insert, to prevent any chance of creasing. This will then be placed inside a slim box or sandwiched between card. Finally this is packed within an outer box, so even if the outer box were to sustain some damage, your portrait is safely protected within.
Postage
Royal Mail Special Delivery (guaranteed by either 9am or 1pm). Fully insured.
Guaranteed by 1pm £20.
Guaranteed by 9am £40.

Giclee Prints Available
If you would like me to order you a Giclee print of your portrait (a high resolution pigment ink art print), I can do this using a high resolution scan of the finished piece. The charge for this will vary depending on the size of the image, and number of copies, but start at around £30 plus postage for one print.
