Heather Butler.

Heather captures the radiance of life in her animal drawings; with intricate detail, a sense of light and airiness and engaging composition suffusing her graphite pencil work.

Images mainly focussing on the wildlife found around her home in Mid-Wales and portraying a deep reverence for birds and animals in response to her overwhelming concern for the increasingly degraded environment and habitats.

In addition to exhibiting her work in galleries, Heather also accepts commissions – both wildlife and pets.

She uses Tombow Mono100 graphite pencils on Fabriano Artistico HP 300gsm 100% cotton, acid free paper. I use only archive quality materials, so anything which has contact with the paper, is acid free - mounts and tape, so there will be no yellowing over time.
